Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute multiple IT projects and initiatives across IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Data & Analytics, Custom Development and other technology functions.

  • Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and action items to ensure initiatives progress according to established objectives.

  • Identify and track project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating concerns and recommending practical solutions when appropriate.
  • Facilitate project meetings, coordinate technical resources and ensure effective communication between stakeholders and project teams.

Technology Pilots & Tool Evaluations

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee technology pilots, proof-of-concept initiatives and IT tooling evaluations.
  • Work with technical teams to establish evaluation criteria, document findings, track results and support recommendations.
  • Consolidate technical and business feedback into clear, actionable reports for IT leadership.

Project Governance & Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, dashboards, risk registers and initiative trackers.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, professional project updates and presentations suitable for Director- and VP-level audiences.
  • Support the PMO in maintaining consistent project governance, reporting standards and documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accountability, timely decision-making and successful project execution.
  • Adapt project plans and priorities as business requirements evolve.

Must Have Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience coordinating, managing or delivering IT projects across multiple technology domains.
  • Demonstrated experience with technology pilots, tooling evaluations, project tracking and cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into actionable project deliverables.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, competing deadlines and shifting business priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction while maintaining strong communication and alignment with project leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing project documentation, executive summaries and presentations for senior management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate technical and non-technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of IT project management methodologies, governance practices, risk management and project reporting.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Project management certification, such as PMP or CAPM.
  • Experience using Monday.com or comparable project management and initiative-tracking platforms.
  • Previous experience supporting IT infrastructure upgrades, disaster recovery initiatives, enterprise technology implementations or post-merger integration activities.
  • Experience working within an established Project Management Office.

Job Location:

  • Downtown, Calgary, Alberta
  • Onsite

What Success Looks Like:

  • Success in this role means independently taking ownership of multiple IT initiatives, transforming loosely defined requirements into structured project plans and consistently driving deliverables through to completion.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical judgment, confidently coordinate technical teams, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and deliver clear, executive-ready reporting to senior IT leadership.
  • They will thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve, bringing structure, accountability and momentum to projects across the organization’s IT portfolio.
